Key Statistics Insights:
Strategy Lethal Flaw: Win Rate vs. Risk/Risk Ratio Mismatch
Though the channel has a decent Reward/Risk ratio of 2.2/1, the atrociously low win rate of ~25% nullifies its advantage. At a 2.2/1 ratio, a break-even result can only come about if the win rate exceeds ~31%. This system's mean win rate of 25% is significantly below that threshold and therefore mathematically highly unlikely to achieve. This is fundamentally the reason behind the humongous annual net loss of more than -5,500 pips.
Extreme Performance Dispersion: Lottery Ticket Strategy
The data exhibits a pattern of large highs and lows. Optimal signals were large winners (e.g., +142 pips on Gold), and the bad were quite small losses ( clustering at -45 pips). This implies a pattern of profiting on a limited number of very large winning "lottery tickets" that more than offset a long string of small, frequent losses. For the typical subscriber, the psychological strain of tolerating a 75% loss rate while awaiting these episodic large wins is too great.
Gold: Higher Volatility, Lower Accuracy Instrument
A closer glance at the monthly comparison reveals that Gold (XAU/USD) signals regularly had a lower winning percentage and greater average winning profit than did EUR/USD. For example, Gold's winning percentage once fell within a month to only 8%. This spotlights it as the higher-volatility, higher-reward, yet lower-odds tool within their repertoire, disproportionately being responsible both for their biggest wins and longest sustained loss streaks.
The Bottom Line
Summary: Even after six years of being online, DeGRAM Forex Signals offer a system mathematically guaranteed to lose money in the long run. Our one-year test analysis using the channel's self-admitted figures shows a whopping cumulative loss of more than -5,500 pips.
The Root Flaw: All channels' fatal flaw is the disparity between their winning percentage (25%) and their risk/reward ratio (2.2/1). This pairing needs only a winning percentage of slightly more than 31% to cover costs—the threshold it never meets. Subscribers experience a 75% loss percentage, waiting for sporadic big wins that are never enough to offset the constant stream of small losses.
Our Rating: Bad
Conclusion: This is not a financially viable system. It is behaving like the "lottery ticket" system - occasional big wins giving hope but eventual heavy loss of capital. High volume of signals (∼40/month) only makes these losses quicker. We fully recommend traders not use this channel and seek strategies which have demonstrated positive expectancy.
