Key Statistics Insights:

1. The channel needs a much higher win rate to break even.

With an average win of 75 pips and average loss of 80 pips, the reward/risk is 0.93 — meaning winners are smaller than losers. To simply break even, the channel would need to win roughly 52% of signals. At the stated 36%, it loses money on average every single signal. The gap between 36% and ~52% is the core problem.

2. The strategy loses roughly 24 pips per signal — consistently, not occasionally.

Because the edge is structurally negative, the losses are not driven by a few bad months. Every month in the breakdown is negative (range roughly −615 to −1,020 pips), which means the drawdown is steady and predictable rather than sporadic. That is arguably worse than volatility, because there is no "recovery month" in the sample.

3. Signal frequency is too low to offset the negative expectancy.

At ~1.6 signals per day (~7.9 per week), the channel generates roughly −193 net pips per week. Low frequency combined with negative per-trade expectancy means the account bleeds slowly rather than dramatically — but the direction is never in doubt. More signals would only accelerate the loss at the current win rate.

4. The best and worst trades are asymmetric in the wrong direction.

The four best signals (+118, +102, +94, +88 pips) top out well below the four worst (−126, −112, −101, −93 pips). Even the channel's biggest wins are smaller than its biggest losses. Combined with a 36% hit rate, this means the rare winning streaks don't compensate for the frequent, larger losses — the distribution reinforces the negative expectancy rather than offsetting it.

The Bottom Line

EDRIC – Market Architect is a one-year-old channel focused on Gold, generating signals in the New York session at 0-2 signals per day and averaging around 15,200 subscribers and 8-hour holding periods.

The numbers simply don't add up. With a 36% win ratio and a 0.93 R/R ratio (on average 75 pips won per trade vs. average loss of 80 pips), we have an intrinsically negative expectancy of −24 pips per signal. For the reviewed one year period this comes down to about −10,020 pips per year or −193 pips per week — and, importantly, each and every month is negative. There were no months with positive result.

The trade size distribution makes it even worse. The channel's winning trades (in the range of 88-118 pips) are even lower than its losing ones (88-126 pips). The low signal frequency (1.6 per day) leads to slow bleeding of the account, but there is nothing uncertain about the direction.

Our Rating: Bad

Final verdict: Do not subscribe. This channel needs a win rate close to 52% just to break even, and there is absolutely no indication for that kind of edge in the available data. Month-to-month losses indicate a bad strategy rather than a temporary drawdown. The subscriber count is just a marketing signal; if you trade it, do that in demo account only.
