Key Statistics Insights:

1. Win ratio is a smoke screen – the math is stacked against subscribers

The 40% win ratio sounds rather respectable and just like the one you would expect from the channel's marketing department. However, when we consider that an average winning position gains 80 pips, while the average losing position loses 150 pips, then a subscriber needs to have a win ratio of about 65% in order to make zero profit. In the other words, even if the channel doubles its win ratio, it will still be operating at a loss.

2. Every single month produced a loss – there was no "good month"

Not a single month in the 12-month period was profitable for the subscriber. While the best month – August 2026 – resulted in a loss of 638 pips, the worst performer – July 2026 – had losses as high as 1,925 pips. It is noteworthy that the losses are always consistent – which indicates that they are a result of the predictable nature of a negative expectancy trading model. There would be no "turnaround month" ever.

3. The average week costs about a third of a good trade – silently

The channel experiences losses in a range between −277 to −487 pips every week. It means that during each trading week, it loses the equivalent of 3 to 6 average winning trades. Because the number of signals (≈8) per week is rather high, those losses are camouflaged as regular trading losses. During one year, they add up to −14,411 pips.

4. High frequency of signals concealed the losses – more signals equalled more losses

Interestingly enough, the months that had the highest frequencies of trading signals were the worst performing in terms of pips' losses (July 2026 – 44 signals, -1,925 pips; January 2026 – 42 signals, -1,764 pips). Meanwhile, the month that had the lowest frequency of signals – August 2026 (28 signals) – produced the smallest loss (-638 pips).

The Bottom Line

In terms of statistics, Green Pips has been active for one year and attracted 31,412 subscribers trading gold (XAU/USD) during the London and New York sessions using the day-trading technique and producing only 1–2 signals a day. At first glance, everything seems pretty well-disciplined and concentrated. Yet, the figures below will show the true situation.

The channel claims that the win rate equals 40%. This is an obviously misleading metric which makes a system lose in a mathematical sense. The average wins equal 80 pips and the average losses equal 150 pips, resulting in the ratio of reward to risk equaling 0.53. It means that 65% is the required winning percentage to make money in this case. At 40%, the system will inevitably lose and so it does – every month over one year of the tracking period was profitable for no one. Starting with −638 pips in the best month to −1,925 pips in the worst month, Green Pips showed a total loss of 14,400 pips. As one can see, the busier the channel was, the worse results it provided.

On the other hand, Green Pips seems to be transparent and provides the information about its win rate and parameters. Its signals are also easily readable and simple. Nevertheless, transparency is not enough to overcome the fundamental drawback of the channel. A trader who subscribed to the channel for one year would have seen his/her account steadily losing from 280 pips to 490 pips a week.

Our Rating: Bad

Final verdict: In the case of Green Pips, the marketing metric (win rate) is misleading and hides the unprofitable reward/risk ratio of the channel. One-year track record of the channel is consistently negative and there are no recovery periods. Not recommended to anyone trading real money.
